Yes: Generally when you have a fever your heart rate increases, drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated and get plenty of bed rest, if you are still concern see your doctor.

I suppose so...: People are rarely happy when they have the flu. And they often feel like idiots for not getting the flu shot. I guess you could call those "emotional changes.".

Sure: Vaccines are rarely 100% effective, and sometimes the flu strain in circulation isn't the one that was predicted.

It may: Any influenza virus can persist in a viable form on "fomites" (door handlles, keyboards, telephones etc., ). That is why we always tell people to wash your hands. Other ways to avoid influenza are to get your vaccine annually, and use hand sanitize when in public to reduce transmission.
