Implantation: If your next period is due March 30 then your last ovulation was around March 16, & if that egg was fertilized & started growing, the blood could be from that developing baby implanting in the uterus. A small amount of blood is relatively common at that time & should stop within a day or so. But if you experience heavier bleeding or cramps (more than a menstrual period) you need to call doctor
