Some basics: The foreskin at birth usually covers most of the glans & seldom retracts completely without force. Over time by age 2 or so with standard cleaning & gentile tugging it will often retract completely. If the opening is adequate for urine flow it is okay to leave it alone. Circs if done heal best & are less complicated if done within days of birth.
