A member asked:

Hi i want to know my son is two months old and his foreskin hole is very small. is this normal or not because his pediatrician wants to circumsize him and i don't want that. please any advice would be appreciated.

Some basics: The foreskin at birth usually covers most of the glans & seldom retracts completely without force. Over time by age 2 or so with standard cleaning & gentile tugging it will often retract completely. If the opening is adequate for urine flow it is okay to leave it alone. Circs if done heal best & are less complicated if done within days of birth.
