Depends : You were probably coughing really hard, short of breath maybe wheezing. At any rate you were pretty sick i bet. We're you laying around too?! all of these things can make your neck and back sore.

Coughing!: Steroids do not typically cause sore back and neck, in fact like any other anti-inflammatory they help reduce aches and pain! your symptoms are likely due to coughing associated with bronchitis!
