My husband has afib, he went in with tachycardia and his heart was beating 190 bpm, they did a 12 lead ekg and found out his heart wasn't working right and he said the top of his heart isn't beating in sinc with his lower heart. ?

Your heart normally beats by creating an electical charge from your sinus node which is at the conjunction of the vena cava and the atrium. A signal is sent to atrial-ventricular, AV, node which then sends electrical charge to get the heart to beat. Atrial fib starts when this "electrical wire" is disrupted.
