No: While the average infant will have their 1st tooth by 4-6 mo they can emerge anywhere from birth to 15 months or so. Later emergence often comes several at a time. I don't consider it worth worrying about.

Not unusual: While average time of eruption is 6 months, eruption of 1st baby tooth can vary from birth to 16 months. What is important is that your child's 1st dental appointment should coincide with eruption of 1st baby tooth. Recommend you see a Childrens Dental Specialist, a Pedodontist.
