Home/virtual appt: Influenza is often assoc w coughing/ strained chest wall muscles. Diarrhea may be a side effect of the Tamiflu, but if it is associated with blood or mucus in the stool, please notify your physician. Drink fluids, rest at home and use a Probiotic to treat diarrhea. Watch for signs of illness such as fever, wheezing, shortness of breath and observe your child for symptoms/test.

South Africa policy?: I am not sure what the rules are for getting testing. If it was me, I would desire to be tested. The majority of doctors viewing your questions are located in USA.
