Hi...i was prescribed benzonatate 100 mg about 10 days ago. my lungs are clear and pre corona blood test was negative. no fever. i have just about stopped medication but every few days i have a coughing fit. what do you suggest?

Post viral: Post viral cough may linger for weeks, since there may be inflammatory changes in the airway. If you experience wheezing, shortness of breath and coughing fits, please see a physician or schedule a virtual appt with HT. You may need an Albuterol inhaler. and/or steroids You are resolving your symptoms, but monitor for fever and worsening, drink fluids and rest.
