Not mandatory: Likely has another viral illness,but COVID is possible.She still doesn’t necessarily need a test at this point.She should wash her hands well, take fever-reducing medicine as needed, drink plenty of fluids, and stay away from others,especially those at high risk(elderly, underlying medical conditions).If she is not improving,please discuss with her doctor. Also watch for rash and abdominal pain.
