The usual way: During the COVID-19 pandemic, one gets his prescriptions refilled the usual way if he can safely pick them up at his local pharmacy (or get delivery). Ask for 3 month's worth and see what the pharmacy says about payment, and it probably will be covered under special guidelines from individual insurers. Alternatively, he can ask his doctor to send a 3-month prescription to his mail-order pharmacy.
