COVID-19 and HIV: Prevention of COVID-19 in HIV infected persons is no different than for anyone else. Follow the well publicized guidelines and advice about social distancing, hand washing, and so on. Also note that sex is the polar oppositve of social distancing, and sex with new or multiple partners may be the highest risk of all for COVID-19, probably with no protection from condoms.

Precautions: Wash hands often with warm water & soap for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth unless hands have just been washed. Use a face covering or mask when in public. Practice social distancing – stay at least 6 feet from others (outside of family). Stay away from crowds. Stay home as much as possible.
