No guarantees: " If" no one has Coronavirus in the gym, and you sanitize the equipment you will be safe, however how can you know if anyone in the gym has the virus unless they have all been recently tested? It is spread person to person, mostly from respiratory droplets (or shaking hands), so someone coughing or sneezing while you are in the gym is a greater risk than the equipment. I would work out from home.
