I have been using depo shots for prevention but i am battling to loose weight no matter how i eat clean, i had 2 shots. i am scare to go to the 3rth one, i have been bleeding alot too, is it normal? which alternative contraceptive you can recommend.

Once this build up of tissue passes, the bleeding should stop as you have usually seen with depo treatment. Weight gain is likely from insulin resistance made worse by hormones, any birth control can cause water weight or actual weight gain. Testing and treatment for insulin resistance is the best option.
