I took a depo injection a month and a half ago and i have been bleeding since and i have been told to take contraceptives to stop the bleeding but its stops for 2 days then comes back with a heavy flow?

Depo: You would want to make sure you are not pregnant. So home pregnancy test. Likely you will need to take an estrogen supplement for a another month or so. See how you do off depo. If no bleeding then you have your answer and progesterone only birth control not for you. If bleeding would persist need to be seen.
