Isolation: Keeping them away from other people is the best option. If they do go out, wearing a mask and gloves will offer some protection. Encourage them to wash their hands with soap and water after any possible exposure. Getting groceries delivered helps decrease possible exposure. Protection: Wash hands often with warm water & soap for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth unless hands have just been washed. Use a face covering or mask when in public. Practice social distancing – stay at least 6 feet from others (outside of family you live with). Stay away from crowds. Stay home as much as possible. Eat healthfully & sleep adequate amounts.
