how can it be that my abdominal region seems to be a little hard?

Constipation: The standard american diet does not have enough fiber so that most people do not completely empty there intestines although they can have daily bowel movements. When your intestines get a little backed up, your stomach can feel hard. You should try to drink at least 64 oz of water and take fiber supplements daily and it will probably improve. If it does not, see your doctor.

It is rare: Some seizures produce certain symptoms before the actual epileptic phenomenon (aura). Rarely especially in children intermittent repeated short lived"attacks" occur the are either entirely related to GI symptoms or are preceded by these symptoms. They are termed abdominal epilepsy, if other causes are ruled out!?

Scar over: I understand that you had abdominal surgery where metal clips were used inside your abdomen. Those are not dissolvable and will remain there. Granulation (scar) tissue will develop over those areas to wall them off from the surrounding environment, but they should be ok, otherwise.
