I heard the novel coronavirus can survive on surfaces for a long time. doesn't that mean that food and other goods from china could have live and infectious coronavirus on them?

Too long: Takes to long for goods to be shipped from anywhere, including China, and then go through the distribution/retail process. Covid-19 came here in the respiratory systems of infected people. It's primary mode of spread is droplets from infected person to non-infected person. Wash your hands often, and don’t touch your face.
