I have a bad pinch nerve my lower back. did an x-ray the chiropractor said that was the result. i can barely use the bathroom for stool because of how bad it hurts.l because every time i push i feel sharp pain. what can i do to speed treatment?

Pinched nerve: Restate the xray results. For back pain conservative treatment , rest, NSAIDS( motrin products) , ice /heat helps over a 6 weeks. If increasing acute pain/ difficulty stooling follow up with MD for MRI . Steroids either orally or a injection may be beneficial as may gabapentin , kinesiotape. diclofenac gel ( NSAID) alternating with biofreeze (methol/ ASA),traction if no fracture. f/u /w/ MD
