Same as flu symptoms: COVID-19 coronavirus symptoms are similar to flu symptoms such that we cannot tell the two diseases apart without doing lab tests. Early in the pandemic, the death rate was about 2%, but almost nobody under age 50 years died from the infection. Almost all deaths were in older people. Symptoms are cough, body aches, fever, chills, sore throat, head ache, and other flu-like symptoms.
