How can you make yourself go into labor at 36+ weeks ?

Doctor will do it if: If necessary to save the health of the baby and/or the mother, the doctor will deliver the baby prematurely. Otherwise, don't mess with nature. We didn't spend the psst few millions of years getting to a 40 week pregnancy for no reason. So, as the saying goes, if it ain't broken, don't mess with it. Babies born at 36 weeks are still premature and at higher risk of problems.
