Can you please tell me how primary generalized seizures and partial seizures differ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Significant: A partial seizure origninates in one discrete area of the brain, resulting in symptoms related to the function of that area. It may remain localized, in which consciousness may not be lost. A primary generalized seizure involves the whole brain at its onset.
