Please tell me what can start causing seizures?

Any brain injury: Epilepsy may follow head trauma, meningitis, encephalitis, alcohol withdrawal, focal brain lesions such as a tumor, parasitic infections like cysticercosis, use of recreational drugs such as cocaine, lack of oxygen such as carbon monoxide poisoning, etc. In other words, any process that can cause brain dysfnctn can promote seizures.
