Rinse mouth : The steroid spray may result in a thrush infection on the vocal cords. I would suggest that he rinse after use of the inhaled medications. If his voice worsens or persistently is changed, please see an ENT specialist who may visualize the vocal cords. Avoid triggers such as pollen, dust, mold and animal dander. Allergy testing, nasal and ocular saline rinses are also useful.
