Sudden pain: Hello. Any cause of sudden pain is worrisome. The pain you mention may be related to the spine, the discs or any cause of inflammation in the spine. A thorough medical evaluation, probably with a MRI of the spine is necessary to determine what is causing your discomfort and what can be done to alleviate your pain. Visit a doctor, preferably an orthopedist.
