Stay healthy: At 17, without known illness, you should eat sufficient protein to support the body building training you seek. Be sure to allow the training to cover many muscle groups. Consider using a coach to assist in your wt lifting goals. Eat healthy foods, well balanced with vegetables and full grain breads, avoid excessive fats. This will NOT affect your growth in a negative way.
