Good day. i woke up with a burst vein in my eye, which left a bloody stain on the white of my eye. how long does it generally take to clear up and is there anything i can do to speed up the process? thank you

Topicals: Several astringent eye drops are available to,help decrease the red (Visine and others). It should clear on its own within a week. If this reoccurs, be sure to tell your doctor to make sure this does not represent a medical issue which would require further treatment.
