A member asked:

I always get pimples on my face and back whenever i'm working in a different country, what's the cause of that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Traveling pimples: Pimples (closed comedones) are inflamed blocked pores. They form when ducts on skin that make sebum (an oil your skin produces to protect it from drying out) become clogged. Changes in hormone levels (including stress hormone released during periods of hard work or strenuous travel) cause increased pimples. While traveling it may be hard to find the soaps and hygiene products your skin is used to.
