In 2016 i broke my femur. i had surgery the next morning and they inserted a intramedulary fixation with rod and nails. i am now suffering from severe pain in hip when sitting and standing ?

Old femur surgery: Sometimes the intramedullary rod mobilizes enough to cause hip discomfort. Loss of bone density, weakness of surrounding muscle or differences in leg length can play a role in your symptoms. I have seen the rod bend and snap, but I don't think this is your problem. I suggest consulting the orthopedic surgeon who performed your surgery to evaluate and advise you.
