If it persists...: Sometimes a baby will throw up everything and then seems fine, without any illness. A 7 month-old is pretty young, so may need his doctor to see what may be causing the vomiting (maybe an ear infection, a bladder infection, a stomach or intestine infection, etc.). If no serious problem is found, then it is likely a viral stomach flu, but it's hard to guess without an exam.
