LUQ: Discomfort in the left upper quadrant of the abdomen can come from abdominal wall muscle, spleen or the splenic flexible of the colon where gas entrapment can occur. Other pathology can also occur in that segment of the colon. A consultation with a gastroenterologist is recommended for evaluation and advice. . Appropriate testing will be done.
