Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, appendix, kidneys, etc... A thorough exam by one's primary care doctor or the ER can help figure things out. A cursory exam by itself may not be enough. One's doctor can recheck, or one can get seen at the ER.
