Could be a sprain: Severe sprain of the muscles of shoulder and arm can cause above symptoms. Get checked with your PCP/orthopedic physician if you have one.In the mean time take over the counter motrin 600-800 mg 3 times a day if needed ,,based on the pain level. Warm compresses may be helpful.
