Avoid night activity: Babies more than 3 months old can usually be trained to sleep through the night. Younger babies might go 6 hours before feeding, but the older babies should be fine until breakfast time the next morning. Do the same relaxing bedtime routine each evening. Generally, a parent puts his baby or toddler to bed, says goodnight, walks away, and stays FAR AWAY until morning. Works for 3 year-olds too.
