Loud sounds make me hear static like sound in my ear. lately my left ear has been hurting sometimes when i yawn and sometimes with decent-loud music . im 18. is my hearing messed up and am i getting hyperacusis or is it possibly an ear infection?

Doctor can check: Medicines such as Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, or Aleve are used to help ear infection, pain, or inflammation. Usually, ear pain that is not better after 2 days, or that is persistent or recurrent, should be seen by a doctor. The doctor generally needs to examine the patient's head, neck, ears, nose, and throat to see if antibiotics are needed for treating an infection. There might be wax build-up too.
