A member asked:

Is there any evidence that "virtual gastric band" hypnotherapy is effective? i have a background of binge eating and compulsive overeating and, if it is to be believed, sounds like one possible thing i can try that may help!

CompusliveOvereating: Clinical hypnosis and self-hypnosis training is a possibility but please make sure to go to a licensed professional. See www.asch.net for referrals. Overeaters Anonymous (OA) is group support based on the 12 Steps of AA and may also be helpful. Peace and good health.
