Abnormal bleeding ?: Bleeding as described may indicate a pregnancy outside the uterus, so obtain a serum HCG test to be certain. There are other causes of irregular bleeding, so even if the test is negative, see your gyn physician who may do a pelvic ultrasound to determine the cause.
