i have a rash on my left hand. appeared suddenly. does not itch. red, blotchy, over knuckles, top of hand, and somewhat traveled up the arm. no idea what caused it...i noticed this morning. i thought at first it looked like i'd slept on it wrong?

Contact rash: You may have come in contact with something which triggered this rash. Avoid immersion in water, irritants and fragrance. Apply a thin layer of steroid cream three times daily, and if there is worsening, fever or associated symptoms, please see your PCP.
