Depends: Fever alone is often not a true gauge of the seriousness of an illness. At that age their ability to take fluids well enough to pee every 6 hrs is a sign they are hydrated, If they play some & interact with you the can often be watched at home. If the kid is lethargic, won't drink or otherwise spooks you go in.

Fever control: If she is comfortable otherwise, provide fluids, ibuprofen or Tylenol and please see your pediatrician in the morning. The two medications may be used together if one does not lower the temperature to near normal or normal range.
