Yes and no: Angioedema is defined as swelling of the mucous membranes and deeper layers of the skin because of "leaking" from blood vessels. If the cause is a medication such as ibuprofen or ACE inhibitors for BP, then yes, in essence it is "cured" by avoidance. However other causes such as Hereditary Angioedema or the Mast Cell Activation Syndrome can be controlled but not cured.
