A member asked:

Docs can you explain what is a blood clot and how do you know if you have one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood clumps: Because of some reason the blood clumps together and forms a mass, usually in veins; rarely in arteries and soft tissue ( after injury ). That cuts off blood flow to the adjacent area. Can get detached and go to the lung and cause more serious problem.
