Is it possible to delay your period for a week?

Yes: Oral contraceptives and other hormones can be used for that purpose. The most common reason is delaying a period for a wedding or honeymoon. Notify your GYN MD at least 2 months prior to the anticipated need for period delay to allow the medication to have maximum effect.

Yes: You can take oral contraceptive pills (birth control pills) and skip the placebo pills (usually the last 7 pills) and start a new pill pack ie no hormone free interval. You'll have to start the month prior to when you want to miss your period. you can delay it for an entire month. If you desire only for 1 week then after that week you may stop the pill for 1 week then start a 'brand' new pill pack
