A member asked:

Having boils or abscess continuously appearing in different arrears of my body, i would like to find out if it is symptom of a condition or infection and if so how can i cure it.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can recheck: The antibiotic-resistant bacteria called MRSA is usually checked for when a person has a boil. The doctor can swab the pus and send it to the lab. Certain antibiotics are used for MRSA boils, and other things have to be done to try to get that bacteria out of the household. Boils can still be due to regular, nonresistant bacteria... so we hope it is nonresistant.
