A member asked:

I want to remove an iud, can i do this at a gp because i find gyne prices extreme?

Maybe: Whether or not your local GP would do this procedure & charge differently for the effort is unknown. You would need to contact the office crew of one or more to see if they offer the procedure & at what cost. It is not a difficult procedure if you have the training & equipment, but the procedures & billing practices in your country likely differ from those here in the USA.

Experienced GP, yes: If the GP/FP MD is experienced with IUD removal and any complications, yes you can. If not, your GYN MD is you best bet for removal.
