Vitamin D level: Yes, 28 is low if measured by the usual lab range beginning at 30. Please do what your doctor says but the experts on vitamin D research suggest between 50 and 80 for a lab reading. Some docs are not familiar w/that and when they see it 30 and above say it is ok. It may be ok but it's not the best. Peace and good health.
