Have had stitches in my upper lip 4 days. should it still be so swollen? what's best to clean it with?

Can be/be cautious: At most I would apply hydrogen peroxide on a cotton swab to the area & tease off any buildup of debris. The peroxide does turn to water but try to blot the area dry. Too much moisture at the site can impair healing.
