Baby with choking: For a month old baby, please see your doctor for a good history and physical. This may be normal or serious and deserves expert evaluation. Your doctor may suggest medication, positioning, or even a change in diet. Meanwhile, keeping your baby upright may be helpful.

Slower feeds: Slower feeds, avoid overfeeding and feed at an angle. A formula thickening agent such as rice cereal may be used to treat reflux. If there is green or red material in the vomitus, please see the Emergency department. Have a weight check and visit with your pediatrician to review her growth.
