Call pediatrician: Can let you know if attention needed& can then follow with you. He is a little young for growing pains.Growing pains often described as an ache or throb in the legs-often in the front of the thighs, calves or behind the knees.Tend to affect both legs and occur at night, may wake a child from sleep. Although these pains are called growing pains,- no evidence that growth hurt www.mayoclinic.org
