Need to see : your doctor or urgent care , or emergency room, as soon as possible. You are at risk to become severely anemic, possibly needing blood transfusions. Medications or surgery may be needed to control this heavy bleeding.

Heavy bleeding ?'s: What is described needs immediate attention from your gyn physician. The severe pain comes from expressing large clots in passing through a narrow cervical canal. If pregnancy is possible, get a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy. Other causes involve possible fibroid tumors, polyps or polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
