Adjust dose: The dose of victoza (liraglutide) should be slowly increased from the starting dose as tolerated (1.2 up to 1.8 mg/day). It starts working the first dose and is maximally effective in less than a week.

Depends: The most common se of victoza (liraglutide) tend to improve after 1-2 wks. If you are just on the starting dose and symptoms are very bad however you should talk to your doctor about stopping the medicine as you may not be able to tolerate higher doses.
