Had scope done have esophagus lesion and ulcer ? what helps them heal ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ask your Specialist:: Your gastroenterologist (GI doctor) can answer this for you. Treatment will depend on what the lesion is, and what caused the ulcer. If the cause is GERD (a.k.a. reflux, heartburn), acid-reducing medications are often used (such Proton-Pump Inhibitors like omeprazole or H2 blockers like famotidine). Some lesions can be pre-cancerous/cancerous. Follow-up on your results. Well wishes!
